Is “Create application note” via API deprecated?

And if that's the case: Will it be brought back? It's essential for our API use case (importing candidates from a Perspective funnel).

The docs at https://docs.join.com/reference/postapplicationnote have no notice on the deprecation. But the "try it" module also gives me a 404.
