Why doesn't Join offer an MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration?

Hi Join team,

We've been using Join as our recruiting platform and are really happy with the product overall. However, there's one thing that would make a huge difference for us: a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration.

MCP is quickly becoming the standard way for AI tools and agents to interact with external services. Having an MCP server for Join would allow us to connect our AI-powered workflows directly to Join — enabling automated job posting, candidate management, pipeline updates, and much more — all without manual copy-pasting or fragile custom scripts.

This would significantly speed up our recruiting process. Imagine being able to ask an AI assistant to pull candidate statuses, create new job listings, or update hiring stages — all through a standardized, secure protocol. The productivity gains for recruiting teams would be enormous.

We're curious: is there a reason Join hasn't built an MCP yet? Is it on the roadmap?

As a side note — we work at ongoing.ch, a software agency, and we'd be happy to help you build and maintain an MCP integration for Join. We have experience building MCP servers and would love to collaborate on this.
